Hi. Acid Jazz/Funk & Groove lovers get a new webzine. I have had quite =
a bit of interest in my acid jazz home page and it has achieved some =
success already in promoting the music. I am really enjoying putting it =
all together, it's a lot of fun. I have been toying with the idea of =
doing a webzine for a few days and today, I put it all together. The =
URL will be: http://dove.mtx.net.au/~carlos/ozgroove.htm
The old URL will still take you to the acid-jazz home page but not to =
the main index.

The name of the zine is "Oz-Groove-Zine" (Groove-Zine, Groove-Scene; =
depends how you say it).
Check out the front page, it will give you a good feel for the new =
layout. I think January will see the first "issue" released. I'm not =
sure what frequency the issues will come out; maybe when there's enough =
material to make a lot of changes. I thought I might set up a mailing =
list to notifiy regular visitors.

I will be putting up some background info on Orquesta rojo amor tomorrow =
so you can read that while you listen to the sound samples! The =
techno-groove outfit PARADOX are also featured on there. They are a bit =
out-of-context for this mailing list, but "trip-hop" fans might get =
something out of it - they have a techno kinda groove which is really =
infectious & their live performances are fabulous.

...and the feeling goes round....enjoy

Currently listening to:

The Jazzhole
New Jazz Spectrum compilations Vol 1-3
Mastercuts Classic Jazz Funk compilations
Blue Note's Straight No Chaser compilation - fabulous! Put this one on =
and then have a US3 "Hand on the Torch" chaser.
