Great Idea! I visited your home page yesterday and think the "Goove-Zine",
if managed as well as your current page, will be a great success. After
hearing so much about Orquesta Roja, Gabriel's brand of Argentine A-J, for
months now on the list, but not arranging to receive her demo, it was nice to
get a sample on your page. Good stuff.

I've recently (last week) finished mastering my own A-J & Alternative Jazz
project to be released in March on the Accurate/Rounder label. The band's
name is PLUNGE, the CD title is "falling with grace" and it features myself
on trombone and alphorn, Bob Moses (Metheny, Stern, L. Mayes, Terumasa Hino,
Nana Vasconcelas, Frisell, etc.) on drums, perc. & voice; Marcus Rojas
(Threadgill, Dr. John, Sly & Robbi, Bill Laswell) on groove-tuba; and Avishai
Cohen (Danillio Perez, Geo. Garzone, Ravi Coltrane) on upright bass. As you
can probably guess by the instrumentation, we put out some truely heavy-ended
groove. As soon as I have some prerelease tapes I'd like to submit one to
Oz-Groove-Zine. If you forward your snail-mail address, I'll send one off to
you.

Thanks & Good Luck!
