A couple of favorites at the moment:
Giles Peterson's latest compilation talkin' Verve, the Roots of Acid
Jazz(527204-2)a well-thought out 2-CD collection of 60's jazz from the
Creed Taylor-driven era of Verve.Besides the usual artists which appear
on such collections (e.g. Donald Byrd with Cantaloupe Island featuring
pianist Hancock,Grant Green's Cantaloupe Woman,Oliver Nelson's
Cool)pleasing to see some of the more
unusual oddities such as Slim Gaillard's crazy Yo Yo Yo,organist Little
Richie Varola's '67 version of Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf? and some
excellent Latin jazz examples including tracks by Willie Bobo.

Chillin out to the 2Kool compilation chomp!(TKCD6) which includes (yet
again) 9 lazy 9's electric Lazyland,Up Bustle & Out's Avoir le coup (in
dub) and the Egg's Fuzz.Nice listening.
Also the Mighty Bop's la vague sensorielle(Yellow YPCD008a)is happily
driftin around my head at the moment-it includes La Funk Mob.
