Two tracks: one was an older tune I'd heard before a while ago, it had
the Fat Albert bassline in the background, and I believe it was by
Freaky Chakra but I'm not sure. And "Freaky" reminded me of the other,
a jazz/funk tune with the samples "downright freaky!" and "yo, it's
cool making love in this fashion". This last tune was mostly excellent
brass riffs with a little bit of funky wah-wah axe-work featured as
well, and a steady hiphop beat throughout.
Next question, is Mephisto Oddyssey's "Dream..." available on any
collections yet? And how about their new track? I like to pick up
collections rather than singles 'cuz they usually give me a pointer to
more of the same sound. Also, if anyone ID's the above two tracks, I'd
love some pointers to similar stuff...
