Philip Bent has one LP out, on GRP. Called "The Pressure" if I remember
rightly, with "The World Is A Ghetto" as one of the tracks. Bent is a
flautist, based in London, and is one of the many young british musicians
to have come out of the 80's "Jazz Warriors" project. He's also put in a
couple of appearances on other people's records, but has had very little
released of his own - like most jazz musicians around here, getting a deal
can be hard work. I believe he'd already produced the LP on his own, and
GRP decided they liked it and put it out - similar to the Tony Remy "Boof!"
LP from GRP around the same time.
