RE: props to On The One

If I may add my .02 worth, I do but magazines such as On the One, SNC, etc.
However, being a person more into true jazz/funk and rare groove, I find these
magazines lacking in coverage of both (not that either is their intended
focus). Whereas, on this list I can get some and it's the interaction (albeit
not in real time) that is important. We are able to post someone to tell them
they're full of it (as Alexees chose to do) or commend them for their
accomplishments. The truth is neither can be knocked. I hope I don't see the
day that computers take more precedent over the written word because no way
would I want to sit and stare at a computer screen over a good ol' book or
magazine, etc. (damn do I sound old or what!).

Bullshit. This list is highly informative and their are ten to fifteen
folks here that really know their shit and care enough to inform the
population without charging $4.25 per issue. If you gave me $4.25, I'd
make sure to get you good interviews too, if you wanted them.
