People can 'dis the 'I'm coming to ________, so what's happening' messages
all they want, however the fact remains that they are necessary and useful.
This list should be llike welcome mats into each other's 'homes'. So, for
those of you who slam the doors on your fellow brothers and sisters faces,
as if they were strangers-- you have a lesson to learn about what the
spirit of sharing & transcending borders through music is all about.
Not looking for flames, anyone. Just wanting to spread a peacful vibe-- and
to explain where I'm coming from before I ask "I will be in
London (Hatfield, Hertfordshire specifically) from Oct 14th to Nov 1st, so
I was wondering if anyone could inform me of any special shows, or regular
club bands, and DJ's I should check out?" I have heard a lot about JTQ's
live gigs, as well as Mother Earth's. I would really love to know whassup
at the Blue Note during the end of Oct too. Any info would be great--and if
I could be of any help to list members in London, let me know.

p.s- There's been some criticism of The brooklyn Funk Essential lately, but
really YOU HAVE to check'em out live. Best live show to come through t.o
this summer...and trust me, there have been many good ones. Their new
female lead singer, Stephanie is sweet, sweet, sweet. So--unabashed props to
Brooklyn Funk!
