yesterday, I got an excellent EP:

Ballistic Affair & Kaos present

Turntable Terranova EP
(meister, fetisch, kaos)

on Compost Records, Germany.

the A-side has "29" and "Fuck 29", two tracks around 106bpms, very
electronic/tr*p-h*pey but with that german industrialism added to it. and a
third track, more ambient but still containing lotsa phat hip-hop beats.
it's called "Symplisys" and runs around 86-87bpms. nice.
BUT! the one supreme track on the EP is the 1st track of the B-side. It's a
long experimental hip-hop ala Mighty Bop (use of similar samples) but
faster, around 108bpms, and with an incredible breakdancing potential,
yeeee-peeeeh! youpi!
Last track, "Tranquilizer" runs around 100bpms and is pretty much sample
based, interesting.

Anyway if you are on the electronic side of acid-jazz, and acid means 303 to
you, or if you are just a "raver in transition" (<tm> Michael, 1995) :P get
it by all means. It's somewhat of a cross between Mighty Bop, Tosca, and
Aphex Twin.

oh, and compost also has a great home-page at http://www.login.de/compost.html
