don't forget "volunteered slavery".
i was really bugged by the way "talkin' verve" was promoted. fortunately for
me, a friend of mine bought it before i did, so i was saved the cash. i
expected it to be funky/dance jazz, which it isn't (except for a few boogaloo
cuts). sometimes gilles p's compilation's are annoying for us dj's...
