does anyone know how the hell a dope group like raw stylus came up w/such a
weak album like "pushing against the flow"? the title track is phizat! un-
fortunately, the rest doesn't follow suit. it sounds like incognito on a bad
day... a little too much steely dan for me (love the dan, but it just wasn't
DANCE music). of course, being produced by gary katz (steely dan's long time
producer) contributed i'm sure... what's up w/him? he worked on the 1st
groove collective record (don't know about the 2nd), is he trying to break N2
acid jazz?
