Actually, when I first heard the 'Stoned Woman' album, I remember being very
suprised that it was on the Acid Jazz label because it sounded to me more
like an homage to 70's rock. I was drawn to the album because of their cover
of that old old Santana tune "I Hope You're Feeling Better" which we also
cover in my present band. (incidentally not an AJ band - we do blues and
classic rock, and strangely enough - our guitarist's first band was called
Mother Earth, no relation.) What I also do remember from listening to the
album was plenty of tasty vintage Hammond licks. Was that James Taylor of
JTQ on the organ?
