Been around for a while, but haven't contributed much. So here it goes for
my first poke at a top ten, in no particular order (or very strict
genere).

1. DJ Swingset "Peace on the Streets"
-A new Ubiquity records comp that I don't know the name of
Not much other info, I just heard it on the radio this morning, and got
pumping on the swing

2. Count Basic - album.. oops, I forgot..
-Kinda reminds me of the BNH stuff.

3. Groove Collective "Lift off" LP-We the people
-Damn! I love that Motown sound of the back-up singers with the
verse/response stuff. Actually the whole LP is solid gold.

4. United Future Organization "United Future Airlines" LP-No sound is
Taboo

5. Ottmar Liebert "Lush" Single
-I've said it before. It's cool. It's Latin. It's groovy.

6. Greyboy "Top Floor" LP-Land of the Lost
-I love those organ grinds going down in the intro. I don't know
how to describe the feel of it, but to me, the organ riff really lays down
some good tension in the song. I guess you'd call it funky.

7. Jhelisa -Galactica Rush CD
-At first listen, it was ok. I liked the Whirl keeps turnin and
Friendly pressure.. But I think this one is really starting to grow on
me. Keep on turnin..

8. Lush Jackson "Super Solid (?)"
-I like the music.. the lyrics crack me up.. I'm thinkin SHAFT
soundtrack!

9. Multidirection II (ufo compiled?) "April in Tokyo"
-Busy. Busy. Busy. There's tons on this comp, but this one sticks
out. That first track (sylk 130?) was almost great except for that damn
thing that sounds like Tom & Jerry rounding the corners at Mach 2..

10. ? My daddy always said there were 3 kinds of people in the world.
Those who can count, and those who can't.

omissions are strictly due to lack of functioning brain cells.. which
reminds me.. T-Bird, got a new one to try. Widmer Blackbier. The hefewizen
is getting old...
