Sorry guys - but this album just ain't happening for me. I found the
whole thing a bit damp. But before you all flame me, let me just say
that I either like my female vocalists rough ragged and raw like
Fontella Bass on 'Theme de Yoyo', Laura 'Tequila' Logan on Larry
Young's Fuels 'Turn off the Lights' and Nicolette or belters with
soul like Minnie Ripperton, Dionne Farris and Diane Reeves.

The album is 'nice' in an Incognito, mellow bossa nova, summery jazzy
kinda way - it contains some nice melodies which floated in and out of
my head without leaving much of an impression. Angels falling has a
nice groove and bass line. The exception is 'Scat Attack' with
Cleveland Watkiss. Especially like the dub bits.. nice - this track
nearly makes up for the rest of the album.

Monday's voice seems more suited to rap/poetry rather than straight
singing - even though what she's saying is a bit dodgy. There seems
to be a lot of her trying to squeeze in or drag out lyrics to fit
phrases e.g. 'Wolf in Sheep's Clothing'.

I've heard bits of 'Adoption Agency' and that sounds a bit harder -
the remix of 'Scat Attack' is nice and a track called 'Motor Drive'.
Don't think I'll be wasting - sorry investing my money in it though.
