Don Cherry did a project called Multi Kulti in I believe it was 93 or 94 that
was nominated for a Grammy (not that that means anything). It features a
whole slew of Bay Area musicians including Josh Jones of Hueman Flavor (and
who's been touring with Steve Coleman) and Scheherazade Stone. You might
check that one out.
