Last thursday I went to The Hague for a try-out concert from Moloko.
They had given away a lot of free tickets so the place was crowded, I even
saw a tv/camera crew walking around (veronica trax). They played a good set,
the whole
lp I believe. The first two songs were nice but they really got into it with
the third one: I can't help myself. They played with a real
drummer,guitarist, bass and two synths which created a good atmosphere. The
singing was very nice, she has a great reach and can sing from a little girl
to a very raw sounding woman.
After the concert they gave everybody a copy of their latest single:
Dominoid, way to go MCA/Echo!
Has anybody heard the lp Jacob's optical stairway? Is it worth buying?
