'Stoned Women' (recorded Feb - Oct '91) lists Matt Deighton on guitar. Now
that's when when Mother Earth were good. I really liked the sound of stuff
like 'Stoned Women', 'The 5th Quadrant', 'Jonathan E', and 'Bad Ass Weed',
and was really keen for another album - and the The People Tree arrived. I
traded that album within 2 weeks of buying it. It was a bitter
disappointment for me. I would have preferred the direction of the heavier
tracks from 'Stoned Women', instead of (IMHO) the 'lighter' stuff of 'The
People Tree'. Loved that 'Bubblegum' song, though.
