The Solo Series is an event that features a different instrument each night
with star performers from different groups playing with a BlueVision house
band. We take a musician out of his regular element and throw the soloist
into the mix of the BlueVision jam. They get to play whatever they want from
Footprints to the Flintstones. The idea is loosely based on the old New York
cutting sessions where an open jam would result and everyone jumps up on
stage instrument in hand and wild competitive improvizational jams take
place. Crazy things can happen and have. This is history in the making.
