You jazz cats might dig our Hollywood Records website, which recently added an
Acid Jazz section in honor of the US distribution deal. The first four releases
have pages up (Mother Earth, People Tree; Corduroy, Out of Here; Brand New
Heavies, Original Flava; and Vibraphonic, Vibraphonic 2), some with video
downloads you may not have seen before. They have an aggressive schedule of
four to five releases a month, including the Totally Rewired series. Be patient
- this web will flesh out as the releases come...

Imagine my surprise.

Tonight I went trawling at the local Virgin Megastore, wondering if I could
special-order an import, specifically the JTQ "Inevitable," when I saw a
special AJ display featuring _domestic_ releases of recent recordings by
Corduroy, the Brand New Heavies _and_ "Inevitable" by the JTQ.

This may be old news, but I didn't know that Hollywood Records (a division
of the many-tentacled Disney monster) is distributing the Acid Jazz
imprint.

I am going to look for an e-mail address for Hollywood Records and suggest
that they see about doing the Talkin' Loud imprint justice in the US as
well, so AJ can finally take its righteous place in this country.
