Hi James,
Has there been any progress on this sampler? I haven't seen anything on it
for a long while, just wondering if it was still alive.

Ok - here's the latest on the A-J List sampler that I've been
trying to put together. I've got contributions from five
different people which sound very good, and promises from
another five that I'll be getting something in the next few
days (I thought I'd remind them publically). I've also had
various offers of artwork and sleeve notes which I will
follow up when I've put the music together. I'm still really
keen to do this compilation and hopefully I'll
have more news in the next few weeks.

James.

P.S. If there is anyone else on the list that missed the original
announcement - I'm putting together a compilation of music
by members of the acid jazz mailing list. There seems to be
so much creative talent on this list that we should be able
to come up with a really good package. It will be burnt onto
gold CD's using my CD recorder (I'm not expecting to make
thousands of these) and will be available through mail order
at pretty much cost price (around $12 in the U.S or 7 pounds
in the U.K).

If there is anyone that is interested in contributing some
music or buying a copy, and if you haven't already contacted
me, please email me at the address on the signature below.
