Does this group consider Kool & the Gang to be Jazz ????
Sometimes I think that these "labels" tend to get in the way of and
prevent people from actually enjoying the music on it's own terms.
You might be interested to know that I have just updated the P*FUNK
Review web site at:
http://pages.prodigy.com/funk/ to include pages on both Kool &
the Gang and Mandrill. Downloadable .wav files are also available for
both groups on their respective pages. Both of these groups are some
"bad Muthapluckers" and are severely under represented on the web.
