RE: the trip-hop/hip-hop thing

Perhaps trip-hop cant be defined, though many will try, but I CAN define
hip-hop as the culture it is, its music (rap), and the politics that go
along with it enough to draw a line between them both. Im not a judge,
and this was not a popularity contest between one and the other (who
said THAT?--I happen to like both or else I wouldn't be on this list),
just an OBSERVATION that trip-hop has its place, and hip-hop has ITS
place, and AGAIN what relates the two-- the beats mainly.('nothin
"foolish" there, the way I see it) But I doubt that the 2 will truly
evolve together....
