I've picked up some new things recently which I think are pretty cool.

ROUTINE Kei Kobayashi, Hiroshi Egaitsu, Tatsuyuki Aoki, James P Vyner, =
Shuwa Tel. Has a really groovy version of "Creator has a master plan". =
Strangely enough,..I purchased Brooklyn Funk Essentials' "Cool and =
Steady and Easy" on the same day which of course has their version of =
the same track. I'm not sure how best to describe this one, they dabble =
with a few different styles. Anyway,..it's cool, it's happening, it's =
my favourite disc this week, check it out!

CRISP - Word & the Deal. I went to the launch for this CD last Sunday, =
they were cookin'. CRISP are an Adelaide based acid jazz/funk band. =
We'll be hearing a lot more about them in the future. I'm working on =
getting some samples on Oz-Groove for those interested in checking them =
out.

COUNT BASIC - the new CD "Moving in the Right Direction". Featuring =
Peter Legat, Kelli Sae on vocals & parts of the Incognito lineup, this =
is one sweet jazz/funk release. A MUST BUY. You can check out a sample =
at http://dove.mtx.net.au/~carlos/cbasic.htm

CLASSIC JAZZ-FUNK 6/The Definitive Jap-Jazz Mastercuts - I concur with =
Erik's comments on this one. If you've been buying the others in the =
Classic Jazz/Funk series, this one won't disappoint you.=20
