Regarding Fila Brazillia, any and all FB is worth the bux if you ask me. The two
full length CDs available are "Old Codes, New Chaos" and the recent "Maim That
Tune". Both CDs are mostly collections of the 12" singles, but stand up well on
their own. I prefer "Old Codes..." with its stunning, long, jazzy house workouts
but "Maim" has more variety and more 'downtempo' material. You may find some
overlap in "Maim" to the Fila cuts on the "Taste of Pork" compilation. But
anyway, yes, worth the $20+ dollars.

Steve Cobby of Fila Brazillia is also involved in other projects which have full
length CDs on Pork. Solid Doctor is Steve on his own, and the "How About Some
Ether" double CD is an incredible journey through years of his recording work
(including some incomplete but still fascinating sketches). Heights Of Abraham
also have a recent full length out, and it focuses on an atmospheric, downtempo,
and intense vibe with gruff, but appropriate, vocals. All excellent and worth
your listening time.

PEACE
