I know the tune you speak of and I used to own it years ago(83). Roommates
and moves have pilfered my record collection but if you (or anyone find out)
what compilation it was on, I'd like to know.

I thought he was talking about Manuel GottSching, the man from Ash Ra Temple.
His music is amazing. Deep, groovy guitar music with a space-y
otherworld-ness - groovy ambient surf music- I guess it describes all this
Progressive Kraut-Rock stuff.

I love the fact that Can, Kraftwerk, Ash Ra Temple et al are as welcome on
this list as Jungle or Rare Groove. Viva diversity.
