Some recent purchases which I think are pretty good:

Nicolette "let no one live rent free inside your head" - picked this one up
after hearing her track on the Rebirth Vol 6. I wasn't disappointed.

Red Snapper's "Prince Blimey"

Irma's (the label) release "BOSSA BEACH latin jazz dance island" which
features: Gazzara, Bossa Nostra, Paolo Achenza Trio, Elza Soarez, Giulio
Camarca, Babyra Soul, Mandrake Som, Live Tropical Fish, Friends from Rio,
Senise, Trinidad, Guido Guidoboni Quintet, Key Tronics Ensemble, Man Sueto
- it's a long one!

Slightly off topic:

A Bachelor in Paris - one of those "ultra-lounge" style compilations with
groovy parisian sounding tunes.

Kansas City soundtrack - Robert Altman's film about the jazz scene in KC.
Imagine the smoky underground basement jazz club, it's just like being
there.

Getting way off topic:

Also,..the Kraftwerk fans who are also into "classical" music should have a
listen to The Balanescu Quartet's CD "POSSESSED". This is Kraftwerk played
on strings by one of the world's best quartets. While I'm here, :)
Kronos Quartet are always hot, Bang on a Can all-stars ditto & Australian
David Helfgott's recent CD of Rachmaninov (the same music used in the movie
"SHINE") is pretty damn good too!
