I have the 4 piece set. They were released in the US about 2-3 weeks ago.
Prior to that, the only version I knew of was the double vinyl UK import.
I saw the double set and didn't get it because something about them
sticking all those tracks per side didn't appeal to me. I'm not real clear
on the effect on sound quality that putting more tracks per side has, but
I think the 4 LP is cooler and probably superior because it's on heavy
vinyl.

There *was* a box set a while back. From what I understand, those were
very rare. The box set was 6 records and had longer versions of each
track, if I'm not mistaken.

I agree. It's an instant classic. Louie and Kenny are probably my favorite
producers, because they are really going to the next level. I've been into
them since 1993 and they are just getting tighter and tighter. I'm
wondering where they'll go after a mammouth project like this, but it
remains to be seen.

Well, you know the press gets stuff mixed up all the time. Chalk it up to
that, I guess. Do you have the Return of the DJ 2 set? I've been thinking
about getting it, but don't know if I want 2 records of essentially dj
show-off cuts. In my experience, those don't make for good listening.
