RE: Jamiroquai dispute/Pucho+Greyboy Allstars at Wetlands

ouch... this guy pulls no punches with the Spice girls comparison. I
found that too funny and definitely agree! I just picked up some older
Galliano on vinyl this weekend and it's fucking sweet. There's some
tracks i don't find all that exiting... but that's bound to happen when
you're not sticking to a "safe formula" and i can live with them because
the stuff that's on, is amazing.

Anyway, anyone check Pucho and the Latin Soul Brothers and the Greyboy
Allstars at the Wetlands Friday? I was blown away. I don't go see much
live Latin stuff and it was definitely a wake up call. Real tight, a lot
of crazy percussion going on at once, amazing alto sax player. As for
the Greyboy Allstars they played two sets. I was lovin those funky
Herbie sounding keyboards and that wa-wa guitar sound. Those guys are
all incredibly talented. Karl Denson plays both flute, alto sax and
sings equally as well....
