I totally agree. If your into great sound in your system, and don't
want to put down $400 for a rega planar, go to a refurbished hifi stereo
store (repair shop type place) and get an old (60's or 70's) Dual or Bic,
with a huge base and platter. Get a grado zte+1 cartridge, and you'll be
good to go. A place in DC called Hi Tech service and repair sold me the
table and the cartridge for $100, with a 90 day warranty.

Anybody know good places to get 1200's used?
