The Jeru/Shadow show just rolled through Toronto on Saturday. I caught
Shadows in store appearance at Tower Records where there was an open
invitation for anyone to bring their fave tracks down and he'd put them
in the mix. Trainspotting headz brought down some cool selections and
Shadow was very friendly and approachable.

Jeru was up to the same 'I got paid' 'make some noize or I'm gone' crap at
the show. Whether he can flow or his lyrics are socially concious or not
the bottom line to live shows is entertainment. When performers lose sight
of the fact that they are essentially viewed as entertainers rather than
messianic prophets and then have the nerve to abuse their follwing they
need to be called out. That he would wrap himself in a rasta flag while
doing this pisses me off to no end.

Guess whose 'playin' himself' now?
