Evening all,
I like the idea of fav covers, like some tunes get done to death. I just
got a Trojan Lp "Derrick Harriot & Friends"

Derrick was a Rock steady/reggae producer in the late sixties who
produced some killer tunes the best known is "Stop that train". But the
real thing is his versions of "Do your thing" written by Issac Hayes.
Three versions lead into I Roy toasting over the dub track, and it
sounds upfront 20 years later, dub funk extreme- it is timeless (unlike
Goldie ;>P)
