Aren't we just talking about the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE album here?

Incidentally, I returned that cd in great disappointment. Not only did it
"sound like it was recorded in the shower" but it sounded like it was
one-offs of their maybe third takes at the toons (a bunch of 60s movie
themes and a couple of original pieces).

After hearing the beautiful "Shelter" done with Rose Windross on THIS IS
ACID JAZZ VOL. 3, I was expecting great things, and was pretty put off by
these covers. It's not like they did anything interesting with the music.
Anybody else feel this way or want to defend?
