Yeah, I saw the Beatnigs back in the day (the punk rock day, that is) two or
three times. I was into those funky ass noise/industrial bands, not like Atari
Teenage Riot or EC8OR, guys like Hijo Kaidan, Masonna, Crash Worship, Zeni
Geva, etc. Beatnigs were cool because they had the political rather than just
decible agends. After all, their album was on Alternative Tentacles (Jello
Biafra's label).

I'll have to agree with most of that...and add to it mention of the
Beatnigs .... Many years ago Franti was putting out records done on Casio
toy samplers. For that he gets mad respect. Nothing earth shattering ...
but the desire to communicate by whatever means available...and actually
getting it out is admirable.
