Please let's not forget the Fat Boys' Human Beat Box, who recently passed
away (or was it one of the other two?). His skill is shown on any of their
first three albums, especially the first - "Stick 'Em" and "Jailhouse Rap"
are classics in my book.

Those who can't find much of their stuff anymore will be glad to know that
Rhino is issuing a "Best of the Fat Boys" CD in March.

Also, the new Grand Royal magazine has an article/interview with Biz Markie
all about human beat boxing - it's called "Spray It, Don't Say It."

(Some obscure human beat boxers lost to the sands of time: Boo Boo B, Short
Fat Sally "The Human Beat Breath," Jock Box from the Skinny Boys. Damn, I
know I'll think of more as soon as I send this, I'm sure!)

See ya,

Brian C.
