could that be edith piaf? cut killer really slammed a dope track on
that one, and i loved the unquestionably french flava w/edith singing
in the background...talk about great use of samples! it brilliantly
injects a bit of the gallic into a music (hip hop) which once was
uniquely and culturally american...but not anymore, it's conquered the
globe.

BTW, i really have to encourage everyone to see the movie -- really
well done, tragic and moving with dope sounds and old skool
breakdancing to boot!

currently playing:

Bahamadia -- Kollage

Photek -- Hidden Camera

funki porcini -- "theme music for nothing"

Dub Chill Out -- comp of classic dub from the likes of Mad
Professor/Scientist/Prince Jammy/King Tubby

MUSHROOM JAZZ -- OM RECORDS COMPILATION & CD+: Big UP CK! KEEP UP THE
GOOD WORK!
