Not bad, considering that it's only mid-Feb. and the March 10 deadline's still
three weeks away. A few more of you have indicated that I'll receive
something in March; but the rest of you, what's the story?
My overall comment is that I'm thus far astounded at the quality of the
material sent so far. We should have a nice compilation!

Finally bought records after a long dry spell. Attica Blues' 20,000 Leagues
under mix of "Tender" is doing me proper. Nice, fat beats with a really
distorted string sample. Stylistically consistent with Blueprint (and this
remix is a similar treatment to the one Blueprint got on the A side of the
remix single). When is the LP coming out?
Also picked up a bunch of old cheap records, most notably an amazing Carlos
Santana/Alice Coltrane album I saw mentioned on this list - "Illuminations".
The title track is simply stunning. Long, beatless beautiful string thing.
