Ihate to add to the non-music thread but my prob. with KIDS wasn't it
potential influence(the kind of kids that the movie portrays probably
laugh at the movie during parties....they probably play drinking games
to it and totaly ignore the "point")...my problem is just the fact that
it had very few sympathetic characters(yeah, yeah, i know; that's part
of the point...); but i would have loved to seen just about every
character get hit by a bus...it just seemed like a simple-simon
film-school movie...half-way decent idea poorly executed...("the kids of
today are just like so jaded, and they like take drugs, and have sex,
and, like, beat people up, just to feel, man!") i prefer my mirrors to
be a little more artfull....
just one guy's opinion,
Brian
(does have a pretty good soundtrack, tho...i dig the UNKLE remix of
"natural one")
