Hmmmmm... If given a vote (or two) I'd have to say that D.St's most
memorable tracks were "Grandmixer Cuts It Up" and "Megamix II: Why Is It
Fresh?" (both on Celluloid), but that's just me. Truly two of the best
electro tracks ever made.

And let's not forget that D.St, through his work with Herbie Hancock in the
early '80s, was responsible for bringing the art of turntablism to more of
the world than had been exposed to it previously. If anyone doubts this,
check out Herbie Hancock's "HH and the Rockit Band" live concert video.
Some of it is kind of cheesy, but much of it is pretty damn cool, and to
this day I don't think I've ever seen a non-hip-hop band feature a DJ so
prominently. Of course props are due to Herbie as well, for the exposure
(and remixes) he gave to D.St and the art of DJing in general, as well as
being a generally forward thinking musical genius.

There's my .04.
