I can't believe I'm posting again today.

I caught Us3 in concert back in the summer of '94 at a pretty small
venue in Denver, CO and it was a great show. Their horn section at the
time did a very respectable job filling in for the samples on the CD.
Also got a chance to hear The Fugees open for them. That was a great
set and the material was much better than the latest pablum they've
been releasing.

Thanks for the word on the new album.

Hi everyone !

I'm new to the list but I'm reading for 2 weeks now.

I wonder why no one is talking about the new release
of US3 : "Broadway and 52nd"
perhaps it's not out yet oversea ?

For me this is really acid-jazz sound ... more than
DJ Shadow or Nightmare on wax (I like them a lot too no problem !)

I think this album is more hip-hop & jazz than the first one
it's really near Guru's Jazzmatazz experience.

I recommended it to everyone. The sound is really good and feel
very "live playing".
I heard some rumours about that in concert the band is in fact
very disapointing ... any answer ?
