That explains it all. I visited the club myself when it was relatively new
(May 95) and the place was bumpin, on a Wednesday night, even! I
understand, though that nowadays there's more DJ emphasis and less live
acts there. As for the albums, I can't name any AJ releases in '96 aside
from JTQ's "Living Underground", and possibly a couple dub/reggae releases.
I don't think they even came out with a "Totally Wired" comp in '96, did
they? Also, did Vibraphonic finally come out with that Christmas album?
Just curious.

Yes. Virtually everything out of AJ/HollywoodRec was a domestic reissue. I
was wondering why people
started talking about the "Mission Impossible" album (aside from the
popularitiy of the movie of the same name)
when I had my copy for over a year and a half (though I bought mine at cost
from the AJ merchandise warehouse in east central London :))

Well, the entire AJ catalog is relatively finite, so you should just hope
HollywoodRec makes sure that every release comes out domestically. I'm
hoping that in the future, HollywoodRec comes out with concurrent or "not
too much long after" releases with their UK products.

BTW, is the JTQ album out domestically in the US already?

ABTW, Is Acid Jazz Records UK *ever* gonna have a website?

Who uses terms like 'HollywoodRec' and 'The Industry' to distinguish them
from Hollywood, the actual urban community, of which he is a resident of. :)
