Speaking as diehard
Cheesy Quaver (raver to those across the pond) I was a bit phased by the
first "booyakka" jungle I heard - super fast mashed up beats and mickey
mouse vocals - and thought it wouldnt last - then it started to get
better! Before I heard some at a club I did wonder how youd dance to
it, then I was out at my local & they had d&b upstairs (Alex Reece) and
hard bag tecchno downstairs, which is where I would've stayed if it werent
for the BASS upstairs! You just have to hear it LOUD and if you like to
dance it will come to you. Ive been to crap jungle nights where everyones
stood about posing and its not loud and it was no good, but anyone in
London treat yourself to a night at Goldies sesh at the bluenote - its
fast loud dark and there are *no posers*. But there is a lot of attitude
in the jungle scene in general and that sucks...
