radio? - not a compilation

My first non-compilation post in ages.....feels like it's been forever.

So out in SF I noticed that more of the music I like is being played on radio
stations, albeit still mostly college stations. But it got me wondering about
the status of electronic music on radio as I drove down route 101 one morning
(techno at 10AM was something new to me). If the NY Times, Wall Street
Journal, & AMP viewership are any indication of a trend yet to come, there
could actually be some point in time where there are radio stations including
the good stuff as a significant part of their programming. I was wondering if
any listees could comment on the state of radio broadcasting in their hometown
and whether or not they're hearing the likes of DJ Shadow or even Frankie
Bones on their stations. Does anyone think that today's alterna-rock stations
will be tomorrow's 'electronica' broadcasters? Is anyone seeing that trend
anywhere?

We already know that Portugal is getting funky....

Hope to hear something,
