Its kinda sad whats happening to dj'ing in hiphop... theyre still around
but since most of the "REAL" hiphop (i hope that doesnt start a new
thread...) are being overrun by the comercial stuff the the DJ are at
the same time being replaced by R'n'B singers :P

still...albums like Deep Concentration, Return Of The Dj I and II,
Altered Beats and lately The Invisibl Skratch Piklz vs Da Clamz of Death
(im not sure if its released yet, but theres a limited edition
whitelabel out) and ofcourse all the mixtapes out there should make it
clear that turntablism IS alive and well..nomatter what MTV thinks :)

I just picked up three mixtapes by the piklz. "Hotsauce in the
dickhole", "coming to america" and "zorlafenfu?" ...GREAT! they DO tend
to be a bit boring after a while since they concentrate 100% on the
technical side of dj'ing but nevertheless theyre defenetly worth
checking out!

BIGUP to q-bert,shortkut, babu, yogafrog, a-track, mixmaster mike,
rhetmatic, doo wop, disk, gift of gab, shadow, krush, mr sinister, roc
raida and everyone keeping deejaying alive!
