A few years ago, the cable company here in N. central Florida offered
cable radio. I signed up right away because they offered all of the local
stations along with many many more stations from the larger metropolitan
areas in Florida. They also offered a few channels of commercial-free
music of their own. After a few months, I found out that they were
offering a larger selection of these cable music channels--and that they
were dropping all of the radio stations completely. That's how it went
here and eventually I gave them the box back--around the time I joined
this list and found out about all of this great stuff that I would rather
be listening to.
