I have both of those Eddie Henderson records and one more, on Capricorn Records
from around that time, titled "Realizations". I think they'd be worth seeking
out but I can't promise you it's all funky stuff (On "Heritage", there's
basically only two other funky cuts, "Acuphuncture" and "Inside You" but
both'll make you soil your pants). Some of his stuff from that time period is
more afro/abstracted/avant jazz stuff but, nonetheless these albums are good
but, unfortunately, none of Eddie's stuff from that time period has been
reissued. BTW, did you know that's he's a doctor???
