Kevorkian Funk

Hmmm....cruising by Borders the other day, I was digging out some new grooves
and came across the Jack Kevorkian disc (yep, that's DR. Kevorkian to you,
bud), I think the title is "Still Life" or something else that I won't comment
on. Strangely enough, I had first heard about it on "The Daily Show" on Comedy
Central.

Anyway, I flipped over the case and noticed a little line "file under jazz,
acid jazz, subjazz". Now, I'm not sure exactly what subjazz is (hopefully, it
doesn't have the same connotations as, say, "subhuman") but the acid jazz thing
threw me for a loop.

Has anyone heard or have this disc? Given it was a limited edition (of 5000)
no less, the price kind of made me balk.

So, is there anyone out there that can share in the Kevorkian acid jazz
experience? ;-)
