king is the man to watch these days as his label, ovum, distributed by
sony/ruffhouse, has got so much going on. before this blows up, i
should mention that i got ovum's sylk 130 last week and it's glued to my
CD player. it's a wonderful melange of soul, funk, poetry. (does
anyone know if the track which i think is called summer love is a
cover...because it sounds awfully familiar.) also look for jamie
meyerson's stuff coming out of ovum. there's a track called
"everything's gonna be alright" that is on the jazzier jungle tip.
that's right everyone...run! (don't walk) to your record shops.

i never got a response about billboard dance summit in chicago. guess
none of you folk are going? i haven't decided, but fyi, as my
informants tell me, on the one is doing the whole u.s. tour for united
future organization (u.f.o.) and they are slated to play the first night
of the billboard dance summit in chicago with king and josh wink. see
you there?
