Chicago Evening and Request

I was wondering if anyone has (and could send me a tape of) Beats
International's "In The Ghetto" single. I have two versions that I could
use for an upcoming event but I had heard year's ago that there was a
better version released on single (UK and possibly Germany). I am asking
for three reasons 1) I want to play it at an upcoming event because I
thought the Chicago reference appropriate to Chicago Ink's first issue
(plugged below) 2) it is a friend of mine's favorite song for no good
reason (the Elvis version) 3) I am personally interested in it. If you
have this and would be kind enough to make a tape I would be most
appreciative (and possibly generous in return).

I will be providing sonic motivation at a benefit for Chicago Ink (a new
progressive city free paper) on March 20th, 8pm, at the Heartland Cafe
(7000 N. Glenwood Ave.) The main entertainment for the evening is still up
in the air as far as I know but I am pretty sure it will be Flavor Channel
and some jazz band I was told is quite good. I have also heard rumors that
some U of C ska band may be added to the bill (which will shorten my time
but that's OK). I am not organizing the event but if you email me I can
probably answer any questions (I'll know more Sunday).

I had my Bentley Rhythm Ace "Last Train to Bentley . . ." and Wise Guys
"Executive Suite" 2x12" stolen so be on the lookout for those two packaged
together!

Peace,

Jim
