I have to say I agree to a great degree here. I have enjoyed Shadow's
singles since they've been coming out, and was excited about the
full-length. I was just listening to it a couple of days ago (I've had
it for a few months now) and found that there was just something not
happening for me after all.

I agree that good things come in 12", EP and single size packages.
I've always felt that hip hop was a single-oriented medium. Meaning
that there are so many great great songs in hip hop, but a lot less
great great albums. Maybe it's the influence of thinking on the lines
of doing enough stuff to fill up an album, as opposed to just
releasing a superb track...

Aww, how come everyone's talking about this album as 'great', 'terrific'
etc. ? I waited
for the record impatiently and when I got it, I must say I was a bit let
down... same thing as with Krush's Meiso, both guys have released some
great stuff on 12" but when they come up with a full album, something
clicks. I don't know, I'm a true lover of
both of their styles but to be straight up honest I think it's better if
they stuck to releasing only singles, 12" and ep's, because all good
things come in small packages.
