No way?!?! Is it the original lineup? Is Martyn Ware still associated with
them? Last thing I heard he did was
co-produce Terence Trent D'Arby's first album.

A lot of people knock the 80s, but let's face it, a lot of the music,
especially from England, had pretty funky, soulful basslines, even if the
Linn Drum rhythms were stiff. The Human League's "Fascination," for
instance, or
any tune by Tears For Fears or the Fixx, or even the Thompson Twins
(remember, they used War's 'Low Rider' bassline for "Lies"!) for example.
