If you want a sampler for hip-hop applications (loops & hits & whatnot),
check out the Ensoniq ASR-X; it's basically an ASR-10 sampler, but without
a keyboard, but with velocity sensitive pads in a compact unit, similar to
an SP-1200 or an Akai MPC60. Ensoniqs are some of the most user-friendly
samplers to use. Check it out: www.ensoniq.com
